The Power of TWO!

Updated: Feb 13, 2021

This business is a blessing that allows you to work alongside your partner and toward a common goal. It's an opportunity for partners to truly understand each other and focus on one another’s strengths. Partnership was more important than ever in 2020. It was the year that truly showed everyone that these unprecedented events can be easily managed and overcome if you have a strong support system, and in our business it's having each other. We emerged stronger together as we were able to watch each other excel and support one another effectively.

This business is not a one man or one woman show. There are many moving parts, and you need to be ready to pick up where one of you leaves off for a smooth transition and stress-free business.

The key to an effective business is ensuring that you divide tasks appropriately. While Gowre takes care of the administrative side of the business, I have a great sense of relief and gives me the opportunity to focus on my strength at the kitchen table. When there is a division of duties, we are able to function more effectively and with confidence. We are also very process-oriented with operating our business. When I initiate the activity, Gowre sees it through to its completion. Gowre is also very focused on ensuring that we have done the necessary homework prior to client visits which makes a successful appointment.

“I am able to confidently book appointments because I know that Muralee will never return empty-handed from an appointment. Therefore, I never hesitate to pick up the phone. You never know when a client needs you. Sometimes the client doesn’t know that they need you till you show up. Therefore, follow up is key to a successful and lasting client relationship”.

We are so fortunate to have each other as partners in this business. Our passion and excitement fuel us and push us to step out of our comfort zone.

One of the cornerstones of our business is the importance of partnership within our team. We are heavily invested in our teammates and their families. Our involvement as partners and as a family has set a great example for newcomers on how to run this as a family business. We stress the importance of getting partners involved because we understand that family is your strongest support system.

This business is about making each person feel like somebody special and we make sure that each and every member of our team is treated this way. From monthly Base Shop meetings and dinner at our home prior to the pandemic, to our annual Base Shop Christmas party for our team and their families, we make sure that we celebrate everyone. We are very keen on hosting events at our home because our team is our family and it’s important that they have a sense of belonging. Getting families involved will make the ride more enjoyable and purposeful. We are extremely proud and grateful to our team for supporting and growing with us!

Lastly, we are incredibly thankful to our mentors and leaders, Bobby and Candy! We continue to learn a great deal from Candy on how to effectively run a business and what it means to be a partner. We have grown immensely under their wing and we will continue to do so. Most importantly, Bobby and Candy have always treated us like family. Our girls have grown up together in this business and they have never missed a big event that we have celebrated. We are so fortunate to be a part of the Legacy Builders family! Legacy Builders isn’t just a name, it’s an emotion!

Proud to be Legacy Builders! Proud to be Primericans!
